ARG62843

anti-CD41-CD61 Complex antibody [IVA30]

anti-CD41-CD61 Complex antibody [IVA30] for ELISA,Flow cytometry,ICC/IF,Immunoprecipitation and Bovine

Cancer antibody; Cell Biology and Cellular Response antibody; Developmental Biology antibody; Immune System antibody; Signaling Transduction antibody

Overview

Product Description Mouse Monoclonal antibody [IVA30] recognizes CD41-CD61 Complex
Tested Reactivity Bov
Tested Application ELISA, FACS, ICC/IF, IP
Specificity The clone IVA30 reacts with CD41/CD61 complex (bovine), one of the earliest markers of the megakaryocytic lineage. CD41/CD61 complex acts as the receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin, Von Willebrand factor, vitronectin, thrombin and mediates platelets aggregation. CD41/CD61 is expressed only by platelets and megakaryocytes; the complex may be absent or strongly reduced in Glanzmann's thrombasthenia (GT).
Host Mouse
Clonality Monoclonal
Clone IVA30
Isotype IgG2
Target Name CD41-CD61 Complex
Antigen Species Bovine
Immunogen Bovine trombocytes.
Conjugation Un-conjugated
Alternate Names GT; CD antigen CD61; CD61; BDPLT2; GPIIIa; BDPLT16; GP3A; Platelet membrane glycoprotein IIIa; Integrin beta-3

GeneID: 515011 Bovine ITGB3

Background CD41 is a transmembrane glycoprotein (integrin family) composed of two chains GPIIb alpha (heavy chain; 120 kDa) and GPIIb beta (light chain; 23 kDa). CD61 non-covalently associates with CD41.
Research Area Cancer antibody; Cell Biology and Cellular Response antibody; Developmental Biology antibody; Immune System antibody; Signaling Transduction antibody
Calculated MW 87 kDa
PTM Phosphorylated on tyrosine residues in response to thrombin-induced platelet aggregation. Probably involved in outside-in signaling. A peptide (AA 740-762) is capable of binding GRB2 only when both Tyr-773 and Tyr-785 are phosphorylated. Phosphorylation of Thr-779 inhibits SHC binding.
