anti-CD32B antibody [AT130-5] (FITC)

anti-CD32B antibody [AT130-5] (FITC) for Flow cytometry and Mouse

Overview

Product Description FITC-conjugated Mouse Monoclonal antibody [AT130-5] recognizes CD32B.
Mouse anti Mouse CD32B, clone AT130-5, recognizes mouse CD32B also known as FcRIIB. CD32B (FcRIIB) is a low affinity receptor for IgG1, IgG2a and IgG2b type antibodies. Unlike other FcRs, the intracellular domain of CD32B contains a inhibitory signalling motif (ITIM) that can antagonize signal transduction mediated through other activatory receptors. FcRIIB is expressed on all myeloid populations and on B-cells.

GeneID: 14130 Mouse FCGR2B

Swiss-port # P08101 Mouse Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor II

Gene Symbol FCGR2B
Gene Full Name Fc fragment of IgG, low affinity IIb, receptor (CD32)
Background The protein encoded by this gene is a low affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin gamma complexes. The encoded protein is involved in the phagocytosis of immune complexes and in the regulation of antibody production by B-cells. Variations in this gene may increase susceptibilty to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2010]
Function Receptor for the Fc region of complexed immunoglobulins gamma. Low affinity receptor. Involved in a variety of effector and regulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B-cells. [UniProt]
Calculated MW 36 kDa
PTM Phosphorylated by the SRC-type Tyr-kinases LYN and BLK. [UniProt]
