The protein encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for lymphocytes and can repress proliferation of myeloid progenitors. | Function | Chemotactic factor that attracts lymphocytes and, slightly, neutrophils, but not monocytes. Inhibits proliferation of myeloid progenitors in colony formation assays.
