● M1/M2 polarization and primary macrophage culture

Macrophages are classified into inflammatory M1 or resolving M2 phenotypes. In laboratories, M1 and M2 macrophage polarization can be induced by cytokines IFN-g and IL4/IL-13 respectively. In addition, cytokines GM-CSF and M-CSF are required for primary macrophages culture. All the above proteins as well as validation solutions for M1/M2 polarization are available in arigo.
