Quantification of neutrophil degranulation

Neutrophils contain several subsets of granules in which store antimicrobial cytotoxic. Once activated, neutrophils release these granules to destroy the pathogens (a process called degranulation). NETosis and autoimmune diseases

NETosis is the process of releasing neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) which are composed of DNA, histones, and granule proteins.
