Organelle marker

Organelle marker

Organelle marker antibodies consist of a group of antibodies often used in Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry or Western Blot fractionation experiments to identify a target protein’s subcellular localization in a cell. Knowing the location helps elucidate the functions of target proteins and sometimes give rise to astonishing research findings. Recently, live cell imaging has become a powerful approach to demonstrate in vivo protein localization and organelle-specific cellular processes. Thus, organelle marker antibodies become a handy tool to have when it comes to determining colocalization under these experimental conditions.

Use the table and links below to find suitable antibodies for each organelle or cellular structures.
