Monkeypox-virus

Monkeypox raises concerns of virus outbreaks recently. Monkeypox virus (MPXV) is a zoonotic orthopox DNA virus similar to variola (the causative agent of smallpox), vaccinia, and the cowpox virus. Although the monkeypox disease in human was reported in 1970, little is known about the infection dynamics and the transmissibility of the new outbreak virus.

arigo offers monkeypox virus proteins and antibodies to facilitate the biological research, as well as the development of diagnostic reagents or therapeutic solutions.

 Monkeypox virus A29L protein (ARG70363)
Monkeypox Virus A29L antibody (ARG67018)

MPXV A29 protein is similar to vaccinia virus A27 protein which mediate cell fusion and serve key target for neutralizing antibodies. A29L protein is a potential target for developing rapid test and vaccine.

 Monkeypox virus M1R protein (ARG70368)
Monkeypox Virus M1R antibody (ARG67017)

MPXV M1R protein is similar to vaccinia virus L1R protein which is required for viral entry. M1R is a potential target for developing vaccine.

 Monkeypox virus L1R protein (ARG70362)

MPXV L1R protein is similar to vaccinia virus J1R protein which is crucial for viral growth and virion morphogenesis. A29L protein is a potential target for developing antiviral drugs.
