Metformin is a usual drug to reduce blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. However, the direct target of this drug remains unknown. Ma et al. identified PEN2 is the target of this drug. The serological test results were critical in vivo evidence. arigo’s GainData® was used to calculate the concentration of insulin and provided accurate 5PL regression analysis for the Nature publication.
